Remote control using infrared and radio technology
This remote control has been developed by order of Hunter Douglas for the remote control of sunscreens. The power of the design is the simplicity in operating it. Nevertheless the remote control has many functions that especially give the control of multiple sunscreens a new dimension.

Usage
Existing sunscreens which have to be controlled by infrared can also be serviced by this remote control. This is the ultimate example of 'True plug & play': working immediately without any difficult installation procedures. With a simple action on the remote control, sunscreens which are installed on different locations, can be bundled in groups. These groups can then be controlled simultaneously.

Radio technology
The main advantage of radio technology above infrared is that the remote control doesn't have to be pointed at the sunscreen anymore. When all sunscreens are assigned to the remote control, several groups of screens can be controlled simultaneously from one single place at home. This makes it possible to control the light-intensity with only one push on a button.

Infrared
The infrared-function has been built in this remote control, to keep it completely useful for existing sunscreens with infrared-control. With infrared technology the sunscreens can be controlled individually. The infrared function is also used to group the sunscreens which makes a complicated installation procedure unnecessary.
