Solar Stepup
Solar cells are normally only effective in applications where lot of sunlight is available. With our Stepup converter, it possible to recharge a battery in applications with lower levels of sunlight. With this technique, the low voltage of a single solar cell activates the converter and a battery is charged. At night or in bad weather conditions, the stored energy is used to power a efficient LED.

Lithium-Ion
For this application we use a li-ion cell. This cell is friendly for the environment and is very energy efficient.

Autonomous
The Road LED is designed to use all available energy efficiently. We calculated the solar cell surface and the LED current so that the Road LED is fully autonomous troughout the year. It can be used for 10 years without maintainance.
