Heat Retrieval Unit (WTW)
A Heat Retrieval Unit (WTW) is capable of regaining energy out of warm disposal-air from houses.
The unit is part of a 'Balance-Ventilation-System' in which used exhausted air is pumped out of kitchen, toilet, bathroom and, if necessary, other rooms.
Clean outdoor air is supplied to staying-areas like living- and sleeping rooms.
Transfer of heat takes place between the exhausted and fresh air.
In this way a lot of energy can be saved.
Systec Designs redesigned and strongly modernized the electronics controlling the WHR930 Heat Retrieval Unit of Stork-Air.
The Systec-electronics now form the heart of the unit and measures the temperatures of incoming and outgoing air. According to this data and the presets given by the user, a calculation of the optimal incoming and outgoing airflow is done.
Based on this calculation, the outgoing and incoming fans are driven.
Also the electronics can switch air channels on and off.
Flexible Design
The Systec-electronics of the WHR can be driven in very many ways. For instance,a remote control using radio technology (designed by Systec) can be used, but the settings of the WHR can also extensively be controlled by a connected wire.
Furthermore, the firmware of the electronics can be updated easily.
Although Systec Designs strongly extended the possibilities of the electronics, the production costs have been decreased compared to the original design.
